Hi again

srry if this has nothing to do with psp mod stuff but i think it does:

well i was looking for some new stuff then i found the "upcoming" 3.60 official firmware.

for i just know this will contain new options like:

UMD CachePIC
USB ChargePIC
connected display settings
Tv typePIC

then i was thinking "lol im expecting to see a 3.60 M33 lol"

but then i looked forward and....what????

The 3.60 official firmware will come with the slim psp (the new version of the psp) and it will just be compatible with the slim psp.

so that means that we will be stuck on our good old psp without playing the upcoming 3.60 games???

but i think there will be 2 firmware versions of the 3.60 Example: 3.60 and 3.60 slim (lol) cuz imagine that all the people that buy the old psp and then when it comes the slim psp, everyone will thrown away their old psp and get the new one cuz there is no new firmware anymore for the old psp??? lol that is stupid.

lol maybe this is all fake and im just wasting my time giving random speeches :) or maybe not its true. btw sorry about my bad english im a mexican lol.

well let's just hope to see a bright new future for the psp.(for us,not sony) :)

My Psp History: 2.00->2.60->2.71->2.80->1.50->semi-brick->2.71->1.50->3.40 OE-A ->3.52M33->3.52M33-4->3.71M33-2

it is more likely they will stick with one firmware but one which installs code based on its detection of whether you have slim or fat psp.

imagine the noobs getting the wrong EBOOT file...

1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

therell prolly be either 2 seperate upgrades (fat & slim) or a universal one that detects wat psp u have and only install certainfiles in a fat one. or, an alternative is to have the odd numbers for fat psp's (3.50, 3.70, 3.90, etc) and even numbers for slim (3.60, 3.80, 4.00 etc)

(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.
PSP Firmware: constantly changing, currently GoldenEye.

if it is true that 3.60 is only for slim then i really would complain to sony.what would happen to old psp users?what if god of wars was only in 3.60?that means that old psp users has no choice but to get the psp slim.i knew sony was evil in trying to make us play games from UMDS but not ISOS(=O)but i never knew they can be that evil that they dont let us play new games with old psp!i dont even know if it makes sense...correct me if i said fake facts.

They will let us (the ones who have been using the Fat PSP) play since there are not many things changed from FAT to SLIM version on system firmware but hardware (video Output port, smaller, thinner, more battery life). However, in order to play new game, we may be forced to upgrade our PSP's firmware to some "unknown firmware" that requires us to play UMD game only.

You wouldn't want that firmware. You would want 3.71M33-2...Make the Universal Unbricker DC-3 to upgrade to 3.71M33.

That's the Universal Unbricker V3.

I suggest that you use this guide.

You only need 1 battery for that.

Remember that you must have a homebrew enabled PSP to do this.
