Ok im new to this like no other i been reading here but i got ? i bought a psp from the pawn shop how can i tell what version it is and when i do the downgrade and upgrade and add ISO's stuff do i need a usb cord please don't flame at me i just want to learn

Yes you need a usb cord and to view which firmware you have go to settings>system settings>system information or something like that

In order to play iso's, you need a compatible firmware, either 1.5 or a custom firmware. Because you bought it from a pawn shop your probably need to do quite a bit of downgrading and upgrading. You should first find out what f.w version you re at and then go to Here for all the files and guides you need.

Dude that site didn't tell me anything it's full of diff sites i wasn't being lazy i just need a lil help not to get told im lazy i found out that i have to upgrade to 3.03 then downgrade to 1.5 then to 3.40 and i saw somthing about getting GTA upacthed Version
