certain games burn well on clonecd and others on imgburn and when i get a game and try it on both and both fail seems to work fine with xbc. so anyone else make a list of certain games that work only with clonecd and imgburn? like shadowrun i tried with clone and imgburn and got coaster i pop it in xbc and bam works good whats going on here? ;(
most of my problems with imgburn is when its complete and its finalizing the disk and at 99% of finalizing disk it gives me an error and i click retry and it goes on and on. any help on how to keep imgburn running flawless
what error are you getting?
as far as running flawless, if you go the the Hitachi:flash/ backup/burn tutorial, there's a part that give you all of the settings you should have (if you don't already) that should get it runnin smoothly
a samsung drive in your 360? well, it really doesn't matter what drive you have in your 360, but what your 360 is flashed with may affect the way you should copy games. so what firmware do you have?
I have used XBC V2.4 and IMGburn V2.1 now on every game i have done. And have had a 100% success rate. The the programs are not the problem. Your problem would have to be your PC or your burner, or that you are not burning them correctly.
some tips:
1. always use XBC to check the ISO file to make sure it is stealth
2. If your burner can, always booktype the media as DVD-Rom
3. always use top quality DVD's
4. in IMGburn remember to set the layer break tools-->settings-->write-->layer break. Check user specified and set it to 1913760. Click ok and burn as normal. This is only necessary the first time burning a 360 game
5. i always burn at 4X speed on a 6X max Verbatim DVD+R DL
6. I never burn the .dvd file like others do, I always burn the ISO 7. always make sure your burner has the latest firmware available. If not then update it.
http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php 8. if you are making the image from an original disc with XBC and a Samsung SH-D162C drive in your PC always go to the tools tab and click "unlock drive" before you make the image.
