PSP 3.30 help!

I bought a new game that said i had to upgrade to 3.30 to play, so i did. I want to put games on my memory stick but i have no idea how, and i've heard bad things about ver. 3.30...
im not familiar with any upgrading/downgrading stuff so please put in easy to understand terms =)
and what is the easiest way to put games on the memory stick?
is it possible to keep the music/video options as well as have games? i dont want to downgrade all the way to 1.5 either...so which version is the best for this?

yea but not many, so if downgrade and then update to 3.40 oe-a u can play any umd or iso/cso

there's no downgrade for 3.30, but im wondering if it's possible to upgrade to 3.50 then downgrade from there?
will it cause a brick?

mm no you can't upgrade a 3.30 to a 3.40 OE-A mmm let me explain you.
your psp has a official sony firmware (3.03)
3.40 OE-a is a Custom firmware (not released by sony) that is way better than the official sony releases.
Lol yeah i was really paranoid like you too when i first downgrade my psp but there is no way you can't brick your psp if you follow the instructions that comes with the downgrader.
So First you have to downgrade your 3.03 to 1.5,then update it yo 3.40 OE-A custom firmware.
let tell you another thing
i think that the 3.40 OE-A was created because on 1.5 you can't play games that require a higher firmware (well there is a way with the UMD Swapping) so other official features (ps1 games,Internet,etc.) but on higher firmwares you can't put games on your memory stick or change the XMB icons.
So what do you get when you mix 1.5 with 3.40 official firmwares:
TA TAh 3.40 OE-A :)

Duh im such an idiot lol i didn't read it well sorry but you ca't still downgrade just update to 3.50 and use the lumines downgrader

lol no worries, i cant seem to find a 3.50 upgrade...is the official sony upgrade legit? or will it make my psp stuck and unable to downgrade>1.50, upgrade>3.40 oe-a?

hey but if you re going to downgrade you need the unpatched version of the game called lumines it's really hard to find on big stores you can find them on ebay or some local store :)
