Is the PS3 not capable of producing 60fps?

Seems like all the stuff I have seen and also where it suffers bad framerate problems v xbox360 is because of this.

What's up with that? I want to get one today but not if this is really going to be a long term issue

PS3 can do it, developers have been lazy and/or have not had enough time to tap into the PS3's power yet because they haven't had the developer's kits long enough.

I found it from another site in the meantime.

Didnt get it in the end as i was just thinking the only game that appeals right now is Fight night and the Europe price is still sky high.

Think i'll wait till them silly fookers decide to stop fookin Europe over and reduce the price. I mean there are gonna be no decent amount of games for this system till Nov, will prob get it then.

he ps3 does do 60fps from my knowledge but i could be very wrong
