I've been reading countless msg boards on this issue
i have umd emulator v0.8 installed
i am trying to launch 1. tekken and 2. locoroco, both are .iso
they're in the correct folder and such, what's the deal? someone please help.
do i need devhook? i don't care about new games, i just want these 2 to work, they require firmware 2.7 and 2.6, i'm running on 1.5.
when i scroll over the umd it brings up the game iso i want but gives me the error FFFFFED3 when i try to play it. a lot of the posts are old and don't solve jack sh. i'm a bit of a noob as you can tell.
thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to help

go to custom firmware. they have a UMD emulator built in, so u can automatically play ISO's.
(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.
PSP Firmware: constantly changing, currently GoldenEye.

below are instructions to execute the update maker after putting in the 150.pbp and 340.pbp, how do i "execute the update maker. it will generate the dxar file." ??
*Get the 1.50 and 3.40 Sony updates, and put them in the oeupdatemaker folder with the names 150.PBP for the 1.50 eboot and 340.PBP for the 3.40 update.
*Execute the update maker. It will generate the dxar file.

sounds like u went for the manual installer. go for the easy one, its at the top. the only difference is someone created the DATA.DXAR for you. all u have to do for easy install is run it from the memory stick, and instant custom firmware.

have you not thought of going to 3.52 M33 CFW, it is so easy to install and OE is slowly getting outdated.
you run the thing once on the psp and all files are created on the MS for you. no messing with dxars...
i highly recommend it
1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

i did, but theres no program on the psp to launch a specific file (iso). only things under game are game sharing, saved date utility, and memory stick-inside memory stick is 3.52 m33 creator, 3.52 m33 update, kxploit permanent patcher and a corrupt file.
any ideas?
when umd is in, the real umd of the game comes up and its update firmware. but no locoroco.iso

ur supposed to put the ISO's in the ISO'folder. the custom firmware is its own ISO loader. if u cant see ur game u did something wrong in the conversion process.
