Ok guys heres the thing since im really desperate, i did this already to my wife's psp and what brings me back here its that when i add the downgrade files to my psp and i click on lumines and takes me back to my menu then i click on the update it says "You have a TA082+ PS, which needs to be patched before it can be downgrade it.

that message NEVER showed when i did the downgrade to my wife's psp
but now that im doing it to mine.... it says that.

What is it mean? it asks me to press X if i want it to be patched or press R-trigger to cancel.

What should i do ?
Please help !!!

That just means that you need to patch it to run the downgrader. Go ahead and do that. The reason it didn't come up on your wife's one is probably because hers is older so it doesn't have a TA-082 mobo. Just let it do its thing and you should be fine.

thanks for replying....

i pressed X and it continued with the process and it said that it didnt find the UPDATE.pbp file which its there.... so im just gonna see it its really there, or maybe paste it again see what happens...

or what should i do? (repeat the entire process again?)

Paste? Did you paste the actual pbp file or a shortcut to the file? Also, make sure you have it in the right folder.

Well when i downloaded the 1.50 update i renamed it to update.pbp cuz it was called eboot.pbp, anyways once renamed it on my pc i copy it and paste it on the N:\PSP\GAME\UPDATE folder, it didnt ask me to re-write anything so i ran lumines and it took me to the menu and i click on the update xy and thats when it said about the patch but after i clicked X to patch it it said it dint find the UPDATE.pbp file

Hmmmm, did you read the readme? I think it said to put the 1.5 eboot renamed to update.pbp in one of the folders of the downgrader.

EDIT- I don't remember fully but I think you were supposed to put it in the folder without the % sign.

Oh man i dont know... it says "extracting special prx's from .pbp couldt find update.pbp"

Thats so weird....

I have no idea what that means and what i need to do

This is what the tut says
"8. Now download the 1.50 UPDATE and save it to your desktop. Rename the file to UPDATE or (UPDATE.PBP if you have windows xp) and then drag it to the UPDATE folder inside your GAME folder :/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ . If you overwrite something YOU DID IT WRONG. Delete everything and try again. "

and in the read me file it doesnt say anything about it.

OH MY GOD !!!
you know what it was ?

the UPDATE.PBP file didnt have to have the ".pbp" at the end just the "update"

now it finds it and its laoding...

MOTHER$#%^%%^&^&**ER

P.S before putting the custome firmware, i know of a 3.30 OE-A
is it good ? which one u recomend ?

Cool. I would recommend 3.40 OE-A as thats what I have. I'm not sure about the newer firmwares.
