Can anybody tell me what dvd media is used by microsoft to burn xbox games. I noticed the dvd itself has a totally differnet look from just some plain old blank dvd. Might be in the wrong place to start thread but had to do with xbox. =/ Who makes the dvd and model if you know it please.. thanks in advance

You can't buy the same type of disc. Movies and games are normally burned to dual layer DVD's. The blank ones you buy are only single layer. That's why you can't always fit all the info from a game or movie on a DVD R.

Thanks for the response rusty.... can you tell me about labeling the xbox games as well.. far as a cd cover image,, have you had much success putting them on? I experience that when i put a Cover on the game it hangs and is much slower gameplay if it reads at all. Do you know anything about this?

I don't usually make labels to stick on DVD's because I heard, don't know if it's true or not, that since a DVD spins alot faster than a CD that the label can throw off the balance of the disc. Like I said, it sounds good but I don't know if it's true.
I normally just write on them with a marker.
