I used to think dark alex was really cool and awsome. but then he left the psp scene. i mean what if we whre stuck at 3.40 oe-c forever becuase some reports have been made that if you try and upgrade to an offical firm while on custom on you get a brick. we wouldent be able to play any new games and stuff. how much would that suck! and then he doesent even leave the sorce so some one might cont. his work. i mean think about it if m33 dident come along and save us all. we might have been in alot of trouble. do you think that dark alex should have even started if he wasent going to keep and releaseing updates?


and one other thing. just thinking out loud here but any one think that d_a might be in m33 or is m33 ? i mean if he dident release the source how did they copy his work so well ? maybe the whole team thing is too though us off. and it would keep sony off his back i guess considering they wouldent know it was him?

im just wondering any one else think these thoughts x)

a few things:

do u think dark alex has no life? he has many other commitments, like 2 family members died last year. who would want to continue for much longer after that? and, everybody knew that wen he did leave, which was inevitable, that other teams would step up, like M33 did. yes, he should have started. he was GOD to all the noobies who upgraded to 2,71 back then, and was a god until his retirement to all of us.

M33 is not dark alex. granted, their work is much like ours. but, dark alex is a spaniard, M33 are russians. i beleive dark alex passed on what he had gotten so far on 3.51 as a template, but nothing else.

was that a typo when u said 3.40 oe-c. And yeah man he was a hero! i never had any custom firmwares to look forward to cuz as soon as i got to 1.50, he retired after like 2 weeks. lol

maybe when new firmware comes out dax makes an oe version and keeps it to himself then when he plays his psp he laughs cause hes the only one in the world with that fw

lol :| i actualy did see a video on youtube with a 3.51 update though....it looked fake i dunno how he did dat. link HERE but yeah i think he did hex edit it somehow, as one of the comments "nicely" state.

Hey, that reminds me of RiPPERD, that guy who tried to fool us into insta-brick "RPD" FW.

BTW, I'm able to hex-edit an OE flasher, so I know instantly that he hex=edited it. He hex-edited the EBOOT flasher in the 340oeflasher folder.
