Wow. I didnt even realise the date! Well I didnt see it on here so I thought I might post it....

What do you mean what is my problem? It says in there that the downgrade hack wont work on slims or until its hacked. i was gonna get a psp for my b day but its in december and the new models come out in september!. Oh lets just face it, Im screwed. I have an unhackable slim v12 pstwo and whats the point in me gettin a psp if i cant hack that either? :(

Thats what I thought. But I did some online checks for used psp's at gamestores that sell used material and there are NONE! Only new ones. I guess ppl really like psp's.

i imagine there will be a number of old psps (new and used) on ebay for a good while, but you are right when you say you need to get a move on and buy an old one.
i do think they will eventually find a way to hack the slims but it will be a long time, and then maybe only with some sort of mod-chip.
don't hold your breath waiting for a software hack of the new slims...
