Does any 1 can help on how can i upgrade my psp 3.11 FW to 3.40 OE or 3.53, honestly i need a step by step tutorial. im really new to this psp thing. please help me.
You can find guides that show you step by step how to perform the downgrade, but first you will need to upgrade to firmware 3.50 and get a Lumines disk (this is required to do the downgrade) which will get you to firmware 1.5.
From there you can upgrade to any custom firmware (eg: 3.40 OE-A or 3.52 M33)

Also, quite spamming, u asked this question and the XMB question in the threads like 5 times, and everyone answered u already saying u need the Lumines UMD to downgrade a 3.10 to 3.50 PSP!!! Also XMB is the Media Bar where u choose game,music and such.
