Okay the movie in question is Bridge to Terabithia. I've tried using Anydvd with Dvd Decrypter to rip it. Kept getting read errors, so I did the "Ignore read error" thing, and took 5 hours to get the files. After, I tried to shrink it using DVD Shrink, and it gave me an "invaild file format" error. So I got DvdFab Decrypter, and rip sucessfully. Problem is, when I try to use DVD Shrink to reduce the size, the main movie "can't be compressed" So is there any other way I haven't tried yet?

Oh, the disc is as clean as it will ever get. :)

Thx

I did movie only on this one. With AnyDVD in the background I wrote
an ISO file with Shrink and then burned with Imgburn.

Some of the other members may know about that-I haven't tried it.
Also there is a new version of AnyDVD 6166, I would try it with that
one.

@Pikester6

Did you use the latest version of DVDFab? DVDFab HD Decrypter %3.1.5.0 (Jul 20, 2007). If not, get it here..

I successfully ripped Terabithia with this combo: RipIt4Me/DVD Decrypter/FixVTS/Shrink, except i cancell the Shrink part & burn with ImgBurn to a DL disk.

BTW, if you use Shrink with this movie in full mode, it's going to compress about 53%

I've ripped it with AnyDVD 6.6.1 and CloneDVD2, sounds like you have a bad pressing, see if you can exchange the defective disk in question.

I get an I/O error using the RipIt4Me/DVD Decrypter/FixVTS/Shrink combo. Error occurs at the DVD Decrypter part. Using AnyDVD to rip it also gives me an error.

I agree with vamsilak & blivet that it's sounding like you have a bad pressing.

Try returning/exchanging the disc as vamsilak suggests.

Not everything, this way works every time for me, Ripit4me, this runs it through DVD Decrypter, Once done Brings it up in DVDShrink, passing all protection. Works on evrything even this movie and more. PM if you have Questions

get these from this site.

Sorry for above post, didnt read far enough, Are you using AnyDVD with that combo of Ripit4me. That might be the problem, Or with AnyDVD use that to rip to the HDD, Then bring that folder up in DVD Shrink this might work.
