right then. im currently in the process of installing fedora on my ps3 and you need a keyboard and mouse right? only problem is all mine are ps/2 not usb. i got some spare from a pc i never use and i was just wondering if this ps/2 to usb dual adapter thing would work?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-TO-DUAL-PS2-CA...1QQcmdZViewItem

now you can plug you keyboard and mouse in the ps/2 and output on 1 usb. would the ps3 recognise this?

It's something I've never done before so I'm not sure.

To be on the safe side though, I'd say just get a set of USB peripherals, they're getting cheaper.
