Hello everyone. I'm having audio problems with my dvd player.
The file plays perfect on the computer. When I burn the movie, the dvd works great on the computer. When I play the dvd in the dvd player, the picture is great but the sound is bad. It's almost like a scratchy under water sound, really weird. Does anyone have any ideas?
I use convert v to dvd and the nero to burn.
Thanks in advance

Chances are that it could be two things that immediately come to mind. First is the quality of the blank media you're using and second is the burn speed to that media. Have you tried the disc in another player, to eliminate the possibility that yours is maybe going to meet it's maker?

Short story... Use High quality discs like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim(there are others, but these enjoy the best reputation), and burn at low speeds like 4X or maybe 8X speed....but no faster!

Speeds such as 1X or 2X can create their own set of problems, which are often difficult to define.

Howd you get on?

I use maxell dvd's. I've used the same kind for a long time with no problems. It works in some other dvd players. It works fine in my dvd rom also. I always burn using about 4x-8x even though I can go as high as 16x,I read that the slower speeds will improve the quality.

I don't have access to another dvd burner. Beside's,some of the dvd's still work fine. I just did one that works fine, but some give me problems. "Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm"
