Hello everyone,

I've had my ps2 for about 5 or 6 years, and it has worked fine until a couple of months ago, when all of the sudden hardly any games, or DVDs would play. It was extremely odd, except for the fact that (someone) had dropped it a few times. But now I ask you people this, how in the world (If any of you know) do you fix a PS2 that has the following problems, and will not read/play any disks or DVDs.

Problems:
1. Will not read any disks (whatsoever) It doesn't even show they are there on the browser.
2. The little blue orbs that usually revolve on the main menu screen have clumped together into one huge orb in the center.

Important info:
1. I have an older (fat) version PS2 (hence it being 5-6 years old)
2. I have no idea what version exactly my PS2 is, it jsut shows a bunch of serial numbers.
