downgrading 3.50 to 1.5

when u downgrade 3.50 to 1.5 it says on step 7

"7 - Unzip the 1.50 update to a temporary folder. Rename the EBOOT.PBP to
UPDATE.PBP and copy it to :/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ . DO NOT OVERWRITE PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP!" i do not understand this isn't it suppose to be MS_ROOT then :/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ then the actualy UPDATE.pbp FILE?

please help me and explain where the firmware 1.5 update goes?

I don't know about downgrading from 3.50, but i've picked a little up from just reading threads about problems people have:

In X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ you will already have the EBOOT.PBP for the downgrade, extract the 1.5 eboot onto your desktop and rename it to UPDATE.PBP then drag & drop it into the UPDATE folder, along with the other EBOOT.PBP

PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

i dnt have UPDATE folder or any eboot files in my psp/game/. should i put the 3.50 back in it, and i got this psp at 3.50 (refurbo)

Erm, i'll look at the readme to see exactly what you have to do if you give me a link to the file?

Right, read through it and looked at the files, the MS_ROOT folder shouldn't be copied over, this is simply a substitute for the drive letter your psp will use, so go inside the MS_ROOT folder and just copy over the PSP folder to your psp, then do as i said above, so that you have all the files that were in there, and the UPDATE.PBP which you have added yourself

ok ya i just wathc a video on utube and i was thinking the same thing. tht makes much more sensse soo all i have to do it copy the psp folder with the Hen and game and savedata folkder in side of it to my psp and overright files?

Yep, then add the UPDATE.PBP file.

I'm not sure why the src and checkworks folders are there at all, a bit of a mystery lol.
