how the hell would they catch u? they could ony catch u if u left ur email laying around, in a comment that says "i downloaded gretzky nhl for psp. email me the ratchet and clank game at whatevermyemailis@so&so.cam. but when the feds do show up, format ur memory stick while theyre still at the front door. then, while they search ur harddrive, run the 1.50 recovery from ur spare memory card, then swallow that one. now, go get ur dads grenade launcher and blow up ur computer.

(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.

"well actually"

I got an email from the mpaa for downloading movies over bit torrent.. needless to say i don't do it anymore.

I don't think you'll get into any major trouble for 1 or 2 games. They'll probably slap you with a fine or a couple hours of community service. but more than 6 or 7 and it's probably lawsuit time. They're really heavy on this stuff.

I only got caught for one movie.. at the time i had more than that.. but they only got me for one.. so they emailed my ISP (the guys who provide my internet service) and then my ISP emailed me.

The email said something to the tune of "Please stop downloading illegal movies. And if your not doing it then check your network security and lock down your wireless signal if you have one because SOMEBODY at your house or is using your internet to do it". And they copied the mail sent from the LAWYER from the movie studio. From that day forward i haven't downloaded a single movie. Maybe some other things... "arrrrrrrrr".

bottom line is this. downloading something is no different than stealing a copy of it from your local eb games store or gamestop (whatever). it's the exact same thing... except they can't get you by fingerprint.

by the way. the way i got caught is because they tracked down my IP address. every computer on the internet has a UNIQUE Ip address. there are ways to "spoof" this or fake an IP address... but it's just bad to do.

in other words

Don't do drugs, stay in school, and stick to free homebrew...

*Feds bust down door*
Feds: We have reason to believe you are illegally downloading.
Joe Blow: What?! Me?! Never!
Feds: Well lets have a look at your computer.
Joe: Sure, right this way.
*Arm hanging out from under door*
Joe: Don't mind that.
Feds: We're just here for the downloads.
Joe: Right here.
Feds: You have an illegal copy of donkey kong. We'll see you in court.
Joe: Ok.
*Feds walk over several dead bodies on their way out*

With the 3.52M33 custom FW, you can install a program that turns your psp into a remote detonation device. Then you can threaten to launch VX poison gas rockets at candlestick park during a 49ers game if the feds come for you.

The only problem is that these days noone cares if the niners or thousands of their fans are massacred.. (BTW, I'm from SF, therefore allowed to make this joke)

hmm how do you do that HAHA JKZ. are you serious though wow the psp is like the ultimate AIO PACKAGE THEN. play 'backed up' games, homebrew, change the traffic light colour, detonate bombs, wow. Sounds like something terrorists would use. :D

The way people drive in some major cities, it'd cause more havoc than a sunni car bomb.
