Got my wiikey recently from
http://www.modchipstore.com/Wiikey-Ninte...ater-16430.html
IT came with a hologram sticker abd I think its authentic. If not please let me know. Normal games work finr but suddenly have a few dre's (disk read errors) they didn't have before. I got a professional to install it so I'm fairly confident but not totally about the install. The wiikey setup disk doesn't read I'm using this version.
http://www.wiikey.cn/resources.html
its the Setup disc v1.2 (Universal PAL/USA/JAP - see readme). Have not tried any back ups or imports yet. Geussing they wont work because the install disk doesnt work. I will post pics of install, can anyone tell me how. Any help appreciated Thanks.

You shouldn't be getting DRE on your original game disc. Make sure they are clean before using.
You need to burn the Wiikey setup disc to DVD. If you created the setup disc ISO correctly then you shouldn't have been able to burn it to CD in the first place.
It should make an ISO file that is 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes) If it doesn't make that size the set up disc wasn't created correctly.
You create the set up disc by double clicking 1 of the below bat files. (you choose the bat file that your Wii system region is in)
BootableDisc_JAP.bat
BootableDisc_PAL.bat
BootableDisc_US.bat
It then will create an ISO file the size of 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes).

I'm getting some dvd's from newegg so I'll test it. But the file it created was only around 18 megabytes or so. I did exactly what the read me said. Do you have a link to a premade us boot iso image that I could download and then burn?

No I don't have a link to a premade setup disc and I don't know where you could find 1. Maybe try a torrent site.
But the ISO image defiantly needs to be 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes) if not then your doing something wrong.
Make sure your extracting all the files into the same folder. I would create a folder named Wiikey Setup on your C: directory and extract all files into that folder then run the correct bat file.

the updated disc don't have to 4.7 gb, it can be 18mb. But for game it have to be in 4.7 otherwise it won't worked. You know you can just asked your friend or maybe from store for media, you only testing to see if it worked.

Everything that I have ever read said the ISO setup disc has to be 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes) in order for the Wii to recognize the Set Up disc.
There have been plenty of past threads of users having this same issue and it was due to the setup disc not compiling the correct size setup disc.
Once they placed the setup disc bat files into a different directory the bat file created the correct size 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes) disc and the setup disc then worked for them.

This is from the link below which is a guide on creating the v 1.2 setup disc...
Quote: Making the WiiKey Base 1.2 Disc:
Quick Start - Creating the disc without modification and/or additional media:
If your intention is to simply create the disc "AS IS", follow these simple instructions:
- Extract the contents in the package config1.2.rar to a suitable and easy to find location on your hard drive (eg. C:\wiikey\) - (if you do not have the required software to extract a RAR file, you may download it HERE).
- Double click the batch file representing your region. (eg. BootableDisc_US.bat for US region, BootableDisc_JAP.bat for JAPAN region, BootableDisc_PAL.bat for regions using PAL devices).
- An MS-DOS application window will appear, it will build your DVD image file based on the options you choose. (with this method, all you have chosen is a region). This will take some time as it is collecting all the data to place on the dvd image as well as building a dummy file for the root bootable image contained in the dvd to start the disc (this is for compatibility reasons - do not concern yourself with this).
- Once the application has completed, it will close and you will find a new file has been placed in your root directory containing the package (eg. C:\wiikey\)
- Burn the ISO file with whatever software you prefer that supports burning from disc images in ISO format.
- Load the burned DVD into your WiiKey enhanced Wii and enjoy.
Read the part that is in red/bold which says it needs to create a dummy file to make the setup disc, boot compatible with the Wii.
To my knowledge this means it is adding all the information needed for the setup disc then creating a dummy file to fill the unused space up making a 4.37 GB (4,699,979,776 bytes) compatible ISO that boots in your Wii System.
Below is the Guide/Faq that I pulled this information from...

Thank you. I'm working off a mac and I extracted the files on my mac then transfered them to my pc. That should be the problem. One more thing my pc is really acting up not reading discs or my ipod. That's how I usually transfer files. How else can I transfer them, the 4,7 gb will be way too big for email.
