rather than making another thread i'll just ask another question here. If you use different country PSP rechargers, will they still safely work? E.g. If I used an Australian PSP recharger with a Japanese PSP will it work safely? Are all rechargers the exact same except that they just all have different powerpoint prongs?

uh, maybe. it will depend on what countries. for example, i dont think a Japanese charger would work in an american psp, it would blow it out. thats because the japanese use 220V outlets, and we only use 110V outlets. ud have to do some research or just buy another one for the region ur in.

theres a plugin on qj that you can use to make it be used for controlling the xmb.

I'm pretty sure all chargers are universal now, I know my sony charger is. Double check the ratings on the transformer.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

japan use 100 volts not 220. I was asking because I thought the PSP recharger is 100-240 volts compatible. meaning that the recharger itself adjusts what voltage is needed. e.g if it's an american psp it'll use 110 volts, an australian psp 240 volts etc. so i thought then that maybe the only difference is the prong. hmm
