Proper way to exit gamecube games?

Hi, I'm just wondering what's a good way to exit a gamecube game?

Right now, I just eject the game disk and then I either press reset to go to the wii menu or the power button on the wii..

Is that a good way or will it damage the wii?

dude. just press the eject button. if you cant figure that out sell your wii. you dont deserve one.
