Please Help With DVD Conversion *Files coming out too big*

Hi,

I have been converting some movies for my PSP with PSPVideo9 and the file sizes are coming out huge.
My PSP is FW 3.52
I am using latest PSPVideo9 version.
I rip with DVD Decrypter.

I start DVD Decrypter, select tools, settings, flie mode, file splitting to none. Under the IFO tab file splitting is set to none. Under ISO tab file splitting is set to auto.

After ripping I start up PSP Video9
I use profile FW3.30+ AVC 320X240 768 Stereo 128Bit

Here is what I am getting:
If anyone has any of these movies could you tell me what size you got for them after conversion with the latest PSPVideo9

Cliffhanger - 725MB
STNG Nemesis - 750MB
My Cousin Vinny - 772MB
Aliens - 906MB
Airplane! - 695MB

I don't understand why they are coming out so big.
Any help appreciated.

Try using a different conversion setting. I don't use PSP Video9, but the one that works well for me on 3GP converter is

QVGA/15fps/216 kpbs Stereo/96kbps

With it, I can get roughly 60mb-100mb for every half hour of video and it's still decent quality.

Well, that is just it. With the newest version of PSPVideo9 I don't see any "settings" to change. I know with the older versions you could change many things. This one just has a list you pick from according to your PSP firmware version.

I chose FW3.30+ as that is closest to mine.
I am truly at a loss here.

I do like how the new version gives you 480X272, still I don't feel they should be this big in file size.

Here, try 3GP; it's a little less user friendly, but it's been around since the beginning of the PSP and people are still using it. I think that says something.
