3.52M33 can play the newest games that require 3.52 firmware to play. While 3.40oe-a can only support games that require 3.40 firmware. Basically the same both have homebrew and stuff.

You forgot to mention that 3.40 OE-A is very reliable to use and 3.52 M33 isn't.

not true actually but it is a subjective issue, can you give precise examples of things that worked on 3.40OE-A and don't on 3.52 M33-2 rather than hearsay?

m33 is based off the same code as oe, that is where they started, by reversing oe then adding their own code.

they only release loads of updates to add extra things in. it does the same things oe does, but also more.

user error is giving some people problems, but otherwise it functions very well indeed. soon the oe lovers will need to move anyway, ther are games coming out that require >3.40FW.

do you need to work your way up through 3.52 m33, m33-2,and m33-3 to get to m33-4 or can you go right from 1.50 to 3.52 m33 -4

You first have to go to 3.52 M33, then do the update patch #4, so its just a single CFW installation with a single patch installation.. thats also, the 3.52 M33-4 also have the Sony loader, which makes it 99% -no umd- support, while the OE-A doesnt support all games to run with no umd enabled.

sorry about that post. As you can see it was a while ago, since then I been switched to M33 and like it very much
