i downloaded a game for ps2 from a torrent and ended up with 26 files. They all are the same size and all have iso's. Do i just burn the first one;the first extract game file? i want to burn them to play on my slim ps2 with swap maic. I also have DVD+R's. I heard they dont work and u need DVD-R's to burn PS2 games; is this true?

I tried extracting the first file. It worked but then it started extracting again but froze. I forced it to stop then, and found the iso on my desktop like i planned. I want to know if i should burn the game still because im not sure if the entire game extracted and i dont want to waste a blank DVD.

The 26 winrar files make up the entire iso. All you have to do is hit extract on the first winrar file and it will automatically extract it from all 26 files. The resulting iso is the one you burn. It depends on your ps2 whether it will take +R or -R. Just remember to booktype if you are using +R.

If you are using Nero to burn it should booktype it automatically. Booktyping is only necessary for DVD+R. When you booktype it burns the disc as a DVD-ROM for better compatibility. If you are using DVD Decrypter to burn then click on the little book next to where you select the burn speed. Select your burner and change it so when you burn DVD+R it will burn it as DVD-ROM.

I did some research and i should tekll you some more to help me. Ok.
I have an iso PS2 game file. I also have a slim PS2, a Swap Magic Boot Disk, and DVD+R's to burn games. I also use DVD Decryptor to burn games. I'm looking at a guide for DVD Decryptor about booktyping, but im a little confused. It says to choose the appropriate tab for my drive type. Im not sure what that means. i have windows XP and an HP computer

It means you need to select the tab for the dvd burner you have. Dvd decrypter will name it if you select the drive. Read this for an illustrated walk through.
