Ok very frusterated here, i'll try to give as much info as i can think of
ms25 drive
using blaster360
via vt6241 sata card
using iprep 1.1 2
using ixtreme 1.2
using the ntfscdrom boot method (compu doesn't support usb flash booting)
so, i have my iprep folder created in iprep, put on the c:
I have the burnt ntfscdrom in the drive and i boot from it at that time turning on the 360
i get to the menu, type yes
go to c: C:\Iprep at that time i plug the sata cable into the port on my blaster360 modeb on blaster is off, power is on, eject button isn't pushed in.
idump "my 7digits 5digits"
push enter
then i get this problem...
Drive Scanned
1: IDE Sec Master
Choose one drive (so i choose 1)
port 170, master/slave:ao
So whats going on here, is that the drive? or is it not reading the drive? it sits at that point forever. until i hit esc and freeze it. i have tried the
Mtkflash.exe r/sata /m orig.bin
and i get the same thing.
when doing this i have my hard drive attached, and my main dvd-drive.
So please if anyone can help me through this, i'm about to try to send all of this stuff back and cut my losses, though i've already voided my warranty, anyway thanks in advance.
it looks like your drive is not being detected for some reason, as the ridges mentioned, plug the sata in after its reached dos.
in your drive list it should come up as xtreme master not ide sec master.
also, if you have already flashed it to a previous version of xtreme you may need to do the 10 second trick to get it to flash.
i have an ms25 ( i dont use the blaster though) and always have to turn my console off and on for the flash to work.
anyreason you chose to use the ntfs dos cd and not use a floppy drive?

yea its should say Xtreme Primary if your drive is detected thats why i said make sure you plug it in after your in dos(i can be short and straight to the point sometimes sorry)
and yea i was wondering why your doing it off of your ntfs dos cd instead of a floppy/usb/or MC aswell......
here is a video of a ms25 flashing i didnt use the blaster but everything should be moreless the same...(also its was for xtreme 5.2,so i used xtreme bootmaker which was what we used before iprep)

i decided to use the CD instead of a floppy because i heard floppies run a risk of bricking. But i am going to try floppy now so that i can have hard drive and dvd roms disconnected
yeah it seems no matter how i boot my xbox, or when, or when i plug in my cable, still not working.
what do you mean you have to turn your box on and off?
well i booted from a floppy and i am getting a no drive detected. Anyone out there with a awardphoenix bios know how to disable raid? i cannot seem to find it
