Hi Guys,

I ran into some strange situations while downgrading 1.50 and update to M33.

First of all, it was kinda weird...

- while the power in plugged in, there is not graphics/display on the screen. but if I unplug the ac power to the psp, the screen displays graphics

- After updating to 3.52, my default screen color is purple.

So, what causes these strange behaviors? anyone experience this before?

Does this means that the PSP is having problems with AC power adapter?

Why did the screen color turned purple after reboot from finishing update to 3.52?

Thanks

Try going into recovery mode, (turn your psp off completely by holding the switch up for 5 secs, then turn it back on while holding the R trigger). Go to advanced, plug a usb in and go toggle flash1. Then delete everything in the folder. Hit back, then exit and you will get a blue screen with a bunch of different languages telling you to press X or O. Press whichever it says. It will reboot your PSP, and that should fix your problem.

I followed your instructions, but when I selected toggle Flash1 in advanced, all I see is USB enabled, then it just sits there for 15 seconds and then turned off

why? what's wrong?

You're supposed to plug your psp in your computer using a usb cable. After that just toggle flash1 and delete everything inside of it.

rofl, that's the PSP going to sleep because it's inactive. Is your PC acknowledging that you're connected to the PSP? Check My computer, should be in there. If it is, then do what the other poster said with flash1 :P
