ok i keep seein people wit defferent icons and i want to kno how to do that it my friend said its pretty hard so i dont want to try it myself

Do you have custom firmware? If so backup your entire flash0 onto your computer and get the custom icon pack you want. Make sure they are for your custom fw though. If not you need to run them through an icon converter. Then go into recovery mode, and go to advanced config. or something like that. Then go to toggle falsh0 and connect PSP to PC using USB cable. Then go into the VSH folder and then into the Resource folder. Then drag and drop all the files from the custom icon pack (topmenu_plugin.rco etc.) then exit recovery and you should have custom icons. Enjoy =] let me know how it goes if you try.

ya ihav 3.03OE-C so basicly u go into recover mode enable flash0 and then do u leave recover mode or stay and do the other stuff and u hav to back up all ur files like homebrew music etc

back up the files in your Flash 0. if you brick your PSP your Music and other stuff will still be in thememory card. Flash 0 is in the PSP not in the memory stick

can you do it without custom firmware

Nope, you have to have custom firmware. Though i think you may be able to use a flasher for 1.50, i wouldn't suggest it, you would brick so easily if you put in a wrong file...
