No you must downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade to a custom firmware, 3.52-M33

how come i can't just use the upgrade to a custom firmware, 3.52-M33
and not downgrade

remember the only way to downgrade 3.50 is with Lumines 1.
DON`T GO UPGRADING BEYOND 3.50 because theres no downgrader out yet for 3.51/2

cuz sony patched all firmwares after 1.50 to not be able to use 3rd-party programs i think (plz stop me if i`m wrong, im not sure)

oh so whats this talk about a upgrade to a custom firmware, 3.52-M33
auto installer or something like that where you can play psx games right here CaloHacks Cfw 3.52 M33 whats that for

1st: Use downgrader to get to 1.50 which can play Homebrews and stuff
2nd:Upgrade to Custom-firmware to play psx games and new games that require higher firmware (example: u have fw 1.50 but u wanna play gta:lcs whih requires a firmware 2.0/2.6, u would use cfw 3.40-OE to play it since it uses firmware 3.40)
3rd: Put recovery files incase
