this dvd crashes DVD Fab decrypter! Never seen that before. DVD decrypter will rip it; but shrink gets the VOB message and VOB blanker doesn't work either! Will try decrypting as an iso file and burn with image burn next.

are you talking abiut the older movie with denis quaid, if so easy backup dvd shrink and anydvd , or region + css free

Is the DVD scratched at all? If it is scratched, your drive won't be able to read the disc properly, which may be why you're having problems.

usually a scratched disc would show the error during the rip, not the burn.
