i just got a psp and it runs on firmware 2.8 and i have a mem stick 1GB and a 512MB pls i cant get the games i downloaded from a bittorrent to load even after extracting the files and getting them to the psp_game and UMD_BIN file stage,any special things i have to do or software i have to download.Before i foeget the games are ISSPro 2007,burnout legends and virtua tennis.Pls i realy would be greatful for your help guys cos i am new to psp downloads.Thanks
u are currently running sony's official firmware.
downloaded games do not work on sony's firmware, u need to be running on a custom firmware in order for the games to work.
1) u have to downgrade to 1.5
2) upgrade to CFW, preferable 3.40 OEA
3) place games under mstick:\iso folder to play
for the above steps, search the forums and u should get the details
don't extract the .iso of the games to get to PSP_GAME, UMD_BIN etc. - leave them in .iso format and place in folder ms0:/ISO (like btjl90 said, although I would recommend 3.52 M33 over 3.40OE-A lol )
Thanks guys,i realy do appreciate your help.I will try it out,also my brother has a firmware 2.60 any ideas of a perfect downgrader and would it spoil the psp if it was downgraded and are there any special things i need to in helping him downgrade and what i have to do after the downgrade cos i need will need a step by step help if possible.Once again thanks a lot guys.
