hey i just got the cect p168 and i put my fido sim card in and its telling me theres one in there and i can use it like theres one in there but i get no reception anywhere so far...anyone have any helpfull tips??

Personaly, I need some feedback concerning the use of a stereo Bluetooth headphone (BT profile A2DP) with the P168, because I'm not sure at all it will work, since I don't see A2DP profile when I detect services with my laptop but a sentence in the user's manual is ambiguous since it speaks about "MP3 playback"...
Please tell me the brand and the model of the stereo Bluetooth headset you daily use with the P168.

My phone still says no service can anybody help I'm on cingular and live in Mo I'm to the point of going ahead and buying a new phone but I hate to because I bought 2 of these CECT phones

regarding bluetooth for the cect p 168 I recently bought a pair of the insignia bluetooth headphones they work well with mp3 music files and with taking call however the phone doesn't consider 3gp movies and its audio as bluetooth worthy. Anyone know of a way to change the setting on the phone to make that work, or maybe the format in which I load movies with audio?

do you get a headphones that work well with mp3?
and the audio volume is good?

Yes the volume works well with MP3 very clear as for answering calls it works ok, the biggest disappointment I have found is that wile watching videos the phone wont send the audio. I found the earphones at best buy for $50 us. they also have them on the online store

Ok i got the stereo bluetooth adapter to work with
phone calls and my own headphones with it..but how do i get the sound from the audio player to get in too?
Any ideas how to turn off the volume on the player and get the sound in the bluetooth adapter?
This is the adapter i bought..

I tried the FTP Bluetooth profile with two different computers : one with an USB Bluetooth 1.1 or 1.2 dongle, another, a Dell XPS 1210 with built-in Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, and none of them can access to the P168 memory. When I try -after having paired them together-, both Bluetooth stack warn me with a "Server Error".
Does FTP profile works with anybody ?

Hi there, you guys are giving off some great info here, greatly appreciated, just bought my clone, havn't recieved it yet, but am wondering if i can get the english manual, t-mobile specs and program links for programs that run this phone the best, if anyone out there could help me out, i would appreciate it. i am trying to get a headstart so i can set up my phone as soon as i get it, i know that it took alot of you a long time to figure this out, but again would love some help.
