My latest strange 3.40 oe-a problem plz help

everything was working perfectly but for some reason now when I try to load an emulator or go to recovery mode I get this black screen but the PSP is still on and I have to take out battery to get out of black screen.Is there anything I can do or has anyone else ever had or heard of this problem.

when u try to access the recovery mode and get the black screen, ever tried pressing the brightness button? try it and get back
