hi can some1 help me please i have a dvd disc with movies on it but they are in data format so i cant watch them on a dvd player only on the computer but is there a programme that can change this so i can copy them 2 a disc that i can watch them on a dvd player

What do you mean by data format? Are the files AVIs? What are the file extensions?

i have download movies from the internet but when i use nero to burn them on2 a disc they are going on as data format and wont play in a dvd player only on computer but i want to put them on a dvd to watch on tv but dont no how can you help

you have to convert them, into dvd complaint files(vob,ifo,bup)
you can do this with nero vision.
