Hi, I have dell system with winxp home, I want to install xp on another machine will it work? I've been told if I phone microsoft up the tell them my mobo has died and I've installed a new mobo they will give me a new activation key, what do think

if using dell xp recovery disk on another computer then xp will barf as that disk is for the dell & not another computer & is illegal, so what do you think?
