swapping flash0 files changes the fw?

am i right in saying that if i swap 3.40 oe-a with 3.51 m33 flash0 files it would change the firmware yes?

i think that would only do a semi flash?

that would almost definately brick the psp. each flash folder is unique to the psp it was backed up from, so placing it on another psp would cause a brick
