Yes you can still access recovery mode, and you still need to put the necessary recovery files in place.

foxrider, edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP.
4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.

foxrider, if you are going to keep the text then you are 64 pixels to tall. that is why i highlighted the 100 in red as yours is 164 tall.

just to let you know, you can go larger.
2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.

you are right leaked edition firmware was rubbish and i did recovery right away because it couldnt even play all my icos. can i ask a question why does my world challenge snooker 2007 iso work when using devhook but doesent work when using a custom firmware. it hasnt worked when using 3.40 oea or this leaked edition firmware

By the way the V2 changes the firmware text on the bottom from 3.51 -> 3.40. Also, im not totally sure but I think in Settings/Advanced there is setting to run iso's. Put im really not sure. Some should tell me if im right or wrong.
