unable to burn SAW 3

hi peops,
i know there are several saw 3 threads already, but i havent found help for my problem... if i didnt read carefully i m sorry and please delete this thread.
here is my problem:
a friend brought me saw 3 on dvd and i ripped it to my hdd, but i m not able to burn it, now he is on holiday so i cant try to ripp it again, it would be MUCH appreciated if u guys could help me out.
thats what i did: i have used dvdfab hd decryptor [3.1.5.6 Beta (Aug 7, 2007)] to rip it to my hard drive. it worked without any problems, then i used vobblanker (v 2.1.3.0)to remove unnecessary stuff. finally i ran it throug FixVTS (v 1.603) and tried to burn it with DVD Shrink (v 3.2.0.15).
encoded it whithout any problems but when it started burning (using nero as burn prog) it, it only works till bout the 2 minute mark and then i get this error message:

i also tried to burn it with clone dvd (v 1.2.8.4) and i get following error message:
1 data structure error found.
i never had a problem like this, cause since yet i only had problems with ripping dvds to my hdd, but never with burning them!
i dont know what else to try so please help me, i ended up with 5 coasters already and i m bout to get pissed...

Hi Dope123
You can use a few updates - CloneDVD's latest is 2.9.1.1 and update package 1 of Nero to 6.6.1.15
Quite a few fixes and enhancements in both programs since the version you're using.
Though check the version of CloneDVD - I don't think they was a version 1.2.8.4 - I think they start w/ 2's.

Older burner but can use an update on the firmware. Looks like you're using the original version. Here's a link to the latest - 1.0B
Looks like the last update was from 2004. You're using good media but 16x media may be hit on miss on this burner since the firmware hasn't been updated in about 3 years.
If all that fails try and find 8x or lower media for this drive.

100000000 thanks binkie7! i updated my firmware & nero and afterward it worked flawless when i burnt it with shrink! just used the same files (the ones which shrink encoded already) as before.
i also had anyDVD running while i burnt it, but i have tried that earlier already so thats not the reason why it worked now...
