I wanted to connect my digital camera to my psp, and use my psp as a viewing screen when I take photos. Is this at all possible? If so, please help me figure out how to connect.
1st - Under the "Photo" tab there is an option that says "Camera", I'm assuming this is to use if I want to attach a digital camera to the PSP. Am I correct, is this program all I need for the PSP to read my digital camera? Would you recommend any additional program for this purpose?
2nd - Connections. My psp has a "Mini B" usb slot and I have the standard cable (Mini B to standard USB), mini b side goes in PSP and the standard usb goes in the computer, I use this when you want to transfer files to your PSP. Here's the dilema, digital cameras use a "Mini B" slot, so in essence I would need a "Mini B" to "Mini B" cable in order to connect my PSP to digital camera. Am I correct?
3rd - If I'm correct track above, then I would need to find a mini b (5pin) to mini b (5pin) cable which I don't think anyone makes, because I searched everywhere for one. Which I find this kind of odd, made me second guess if I'm trying to connect this correctly. I did however find an adapter, that connected two cables and giving the result I needed: Mini B to Mini B. However, once I've connected the 2 device together and clicked on the "Camera" option on the PSP, it gave me this message "Connect a camera that is compatible with PSP system to the USB connector (80108D50)?
You can stop thinking and researching. Well to put this simply you gotta buy a PSP camera. But when you see what they look like you will be like nevermind.
haha. currently psp only works with psp camera. and i think SELFISH sony will not allow other camera developers to develop something that works with psp without SONY brand
