I have CFW 3.40 OE-A on my psp

I am trying to get into the configuration menu....but I cant

I read that I need to (cold boot while holding R what does that mean?)

Am i correct in saying its turning my psp off and then on and holding the Trigger R the whole time till the psp comes on?

Do I need a umd in there while doing it?

hi to cold boot ur psp press the R button while powering on the psp don't have a disc in the psp it can take a while to get it so don't get angry

Also make sure when your psp is on hold the power button up for 3 sec. until it turns off. Then, while holding the R Trigger button, hold the power button up for 1 sec. and let go until you see the recovery menu.
