i got the 1.00 eboot (at least i think it is, thats what it said when i downloaded it). It is 14.2 mb. Can i rename it UPDATE.PBP, place it in the recovery folder (witht he other files in there) and replace the 1.50 eboot with it?

I'm not too sure because the flasher does a PSAR Check or something. Also, can u post the link to the 1.00 EBOOT? I've been lookin' for it.

Your both wrong. No offense. Assuming you're running custom Firmware, whether M33 or OE, the Recovery console was specifically designed to revert back to 1.50. If you go to PSP\GAME\RECOVERY you will see 5 or 6 files, UPDATE.PBP being only one of them. The other files are designed to flash your PSP without going through the process of extracting the DATA.PSAR. With Firmware 1.50 (Official), there was no difference in PSP. If you compare fifty different PSP's with 1.50 (Official) Firmware, regardless of motherboard, they are exactly the same. This is why the there is no need to compress the data settings into the DATA.PSAR. Replacing just the UPGRADE.PBP, would result in a complete brick. Besides, why would you want to downgrade to 1.00. Every ... most (99.99%) of all homebrew and fresh copies of custom Firmware installers require 1.50. 1.00 does nothing for you.
There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

I could very well be losing my mind, but marlino23, aren't you the one who started this thread ASKING if this is possible. Why are you now saying "I will give you the 1.00 update tommorrow on megaupload ... i will send you the link." Who are you talking to? And if you could already do this or at least had some idea of what your doing, why post it asking if you could? I must be losing my mind?

Is there any good features on 1.00?Maybe some hidden Sony stuff? :P.Eh,I think downgrading to 1.00 is another word for 100% brick.IDK why but I just think it is.
My PSP Life-
2.71-> 2.80-> 3.11-> 3.50-> 1.50-> 3.40OE-A
Bricked before then recovered by Re-Flashing.

There isn't such thing as the 1.00 EBOOT. There never was one, don't try it.

EBOOT 1.00
crc32: 7f6309fb
md5: 47398e49360ab021c3ffa42cac3e6f15
is this what you have?
i read somewhere that it was a leaked BETA eboot for developers???
if you want to go to 1.00 you can use the Dark_Alex DG, but it requires someone with 1.00 to run a 'downhelper' EBOOT to extract some files...
1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2
