I just bought a vga cord so I could connect my laptop to my HD TV and when i hit the Fn and F8 to switch it over to my tv the resolution changes from my original to the smallest it can go, 680x480. This also messes up the screen in which when I open IE i only see about the top left side of the page, like it cuts off the rest of the screen. Is there away to view the screen like normal like on the laptop, Ive tried to change resolutions on both my tv and laptop; the laptop says it only works on one resolution when connected.. i think. Any help please?
