PSP song arrangment

Can i ask how the song arrangement work in PSP?

When i put mp3 into my PSP, It doesn't follow alphabetical order. I don't how the PSP arrange my song. Any idea?

Instead of basing the order on the song tag, i think it bases the order on the actual file name of the songs (don't quote me though). But it's a lot easier to just arange different artists into different folders so your songs don't take ages to find.

If i create a folder for each artist, the shuffle function doesn't help much. It is not random enough.

Hmm, that's a good point, though, if you need the shuffle function so much then get an MP3 player :)

Try out a homebrew app that plays music and lists the music from tag, see if that has a shuffle fuction.
