hello!!
i was trying to put a password on the adult channels and turned on child protection and then switched off the box the next day when i switched the box on it asked for the password but when i entered the password it asks for it again after 3 goes it turns off. does anyone know what i should do?? im running sportster on sagem 1X

any help would be appretiated. thanks

Hi,

There are 2 methods to find the pincode on a dbox2

either ftp into var/tuxbox/config and view neutrino.conf, look for parentallock_pincode=####

the #### is the pincode.

If you want you can do it from the dbox
Choose Tuxbox Commander
var ok
tuxbox ok
config ok
scroll down to neutrino.conf ok
then scroll down to the line, it is in alphabetical order.

i've done what you said i am entering the right password. the password is not only on the adult channels but on the box the box lodes up till when theres ip address and the other stuff on the tv screen and it says Security-Press-OK on the dbox screen. i cant view or do anything.dont know what ealse to do i cant update the image either maby flashing will work????

i dont know what to do now i have tryied flashing the box but its not working maby im doing it wrong. can someone please help me???? if you need anymore info or pics jst tell me and i'll do my best to provide them.
