hey guys. k this is what i have done. i have an lg 19" lcd monitor. 3000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response time. it has a vga connection and a DVI-D connection on the back. I want to hook up my computer and my 360 to my monitor at the same time. I figured i would use a vga cable to go from my comp to my monitor. then i bought a dvi-d to vga adapter off of ebay for $4. the computer connection works, but the 360 through the dvi-d connection does not work. i changed the monitor to digital and still nothing is coming up. i no the monitor has found it but it will not show any picture. i have the same problem if i connect the computer vga cable to the vga-dvi-d connector. i have a vga cable splitter, so this way i could have both the 360 and my computer hooked up to my monitor through the vga port at the same time, but when i use my comp it has serious ghosting problems. but then everything is fine when i play my 360. so the the splitter is out of the question because i cannot stand the ghosting. is there a way i could have them both hooked up through vga without ghosting? or another way that i could hook up my 360 vga adapter to my dvi-d connection on my monitor?
