I had a problem during the installation of a WiiKey modchip.
The Wii works fine and plays originals, but still can't play backups or play the setup disk and it was tested on wii firmware versions 2.2 and 3.0
During installation, i used the triwing and regular screw driver, 25W soldering iron, Lead solder with rosin flux core.
I bought the modchip from modchipcentral.com and i'm pretty sure it's authentic
Here are some pictures
I used LGDVD-R 's for the media and used DVD identifier to provide some more info on the disc

Does anyone know wut the problem could be?
Im thinking i screwed up during the soldering, if so does anyone have any tips on fixing what i've done so far.
I had a hard time making my backup works with a LG burner. The only thing that worked for me was SonyDVD-R or Verbatim DVD-R burned at 4x using CloneCD. Might worth a try...
My Wii only accepts DVD-R (either Verbatim or Sony) when burned with CloneCD. They won't work if burned with ImgBurn or Nero (I may have the pickiest Wii drive around). This may be LG burners specific though.
thanks for the help guys, i used a multimeter and found out the problem was two of the connections were touching, fixed the problem and now it's working ^_^
The way i did it was with a multimeter from Radio Shack and set it to 200 ohms, i think my way is a little unconventional but I simply touched two different points and tested all the connections for resistance, if it gave me 0, it wasn't touching.
