First of all(being a noob) i Have a few questions.
set up
47dj drive
samsung sh-s182d dvd dl recorder

I'm bought a modded 360, had to replace laser plays originals fine, dvdr movies, just not game backups,i get the unplayable disc error (says to clean disc and restart) i only use verbatim. i've checked the image with the mullet programsays everything in fine, then i check it with xbox backup creator, says it has a video error. I use imgburn with the layerbreak set to 1913760. i read to set drive to bitsetting not sure why or know how to. anyways any help would be great. i really don't want to adjust laser. unless i have to. do think i need to if it will read a dvdr movie.

I'd update the fw to the Hitachi ixtreme 1.2 fw if it's not what's already flashed on it. Try burning at 4x with Verbatim discs. Older hitachi drives have trouble reading 2.4x Verbs.

xtrem 2.4 firmware, will try to flash ixtreme 1.2 whan my pci sata card gets here, tried burning at 4 still not working, will flashing new firmware really help
the disc i burn when checked show book as dvd-rom , so thats good right
