Hi I'm new and was thinking about getting into some PSPhomebrew.
I read that homebrew is not possible above 3.5 firmware, so I was wondering if there is a way to tell version before purchasing.
Are homebrew capable PSP's still in most stores (ie Walmart)? Also, are the unpatched versions of the games needed to run the downgraders easily located?
well when i went and bought mine i asked to look at the psp to see if there were any stuck or dead pixels,and i quikly checked the firmware,you could do that.
i dont think they would click on to the whole firmware thing,even if they did,who cares there nothing they can do about it,because you are saying your looking for dead pixels before you buy, and as for unpatched gta,ebay,a friend,or you might be able to hire it from somewhere.
