psp 3.50 update problems

i try to update too 3.50 in order to downgrade but when i try to run the update it says :the game could not be started. (80020148)

PLEASE HELP ME

From which version you trying to update, and make sure the 3.50 update file is places in the following folder and named EBOOT.PBP
"(Memstick Drive):/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP" <-- like this.
