im getting a mem stick 512mb and i download games its a .cso file

I'm not sure you if can downgrade from 2.80 by software alone. The method I would use would be to upgrade to 3.03, then using the unpatched GTA:LCS, downgrade to 1.50. Whatever method you choice, upgrade from 1.50 to 3.40OE-A. Then place the CSO file in the ISO folder (%:\ISO\).

P.S. 512MB is nothing when dealing with complete UMD rips. Most downloaded games are ripped from UMD and then stripped of unneeded extras to reduce size. A UMD can hold up to 1.8GB uncompressed, so keep that in mind when choosing a memory stick. Most games compressed to CSO range from 50-1600MB at the extremes. Most game are typically 150-650MB on average.

EDITTED: You can downgrade with software alone. Go to http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-hacks-9/t-gui...uide-90916.html and follow the walkthrough to downgrade. Then go to http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=383 once you've successfully downgraded to 1.50, so your can play those ISO/CSO files.
