I've been burning PS2's backups on low quality media and the console just doesn't read them at all.

I decided to get new DVD's and that's what i'm about to do, i just need your help about which should i buy, i don't have much of a choice right here... i have TDK, Sony, Memorex and Verbatim media.

I sorted Verbatim are the best go, i just don't know if i should buy +R or -R please correct me if i happen to be wrong and give some tips.

I'm not totally sure about this but I think your supposed to buy dvd + or - depending on which your dvd burner can write to and btw memorex dvds aren't supposed to be good at all.

dont buy memorex

read one of the stickys that talks about media and the quality

mostly they will tell you taiyo yuden and verbatim

i used 100 office depot dvd-r which are really ritek's and havent had any problems and there pretty cheap so if you want those should work

Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden are the best.

If you buy 8x speed discs burn them at 4x, or if you buy 16x burn them at 8.

Most people say use -R for fat PS2s and +R for slims.

Thank you both, i'm a buy Verbatim DVD-R 8x and will burn at 4x.
I should have no porblems this way.
