HELP! Dislocated PS2 Disk Tray w/Slide Card

OK, so, like an idiot, instead of waiting for my slide card pro to come in the mail, I make my own ghetto slide card (from the method seen here) and try to use it. Long story short, despite looking at all sorts of guides, I not only failed to pull out the tray (probably because of how crappy the card was), but I also managed to dislocate it somehow (I don't remember exactly how, though). :(

As you can see from the pics, it's raised open more on the left, thus exposing a white gear for you to see.

Now when my PS2 tries to read a game, it can't make the disc spin and just makes all sorts of terrible grinding noises like something's in the way.

How do I put it back in place?!

Any help would be GREATLY appretiated!!

Never mind! Solved the problem with a pair of needle nose pliers. :D The right side of the tray was on top of rather than in front of the piston-thing that ejected it.
